Anaheim's music and festival dates split between big rooms and open air: stadium shows at Angel Stadium, concerts at Honda Center, the outdoor stage at City National Grove, and community events along Center Street. Each one sends people to the merch table in waves, so we plan for the rush after the opener, not the average hour. The shop is one city over, so extra blanks can come down the 57 mid-day if the gates get busier than planned.
For a crowd that size we bring several presses, a deep stack of sizes and a crew that expects the line to spike at set break. Outdoors, each 10×10 station needs flat ground and shade. On a summer afternoon at the Grove the canopy is there to protect the printers and the gear from the heat.
Built for Anaheim festival crowds
- Printed to demand: fans pick the design and size at the table, so nobody pre-orders boxes and guesses at the size split.
- Sized for the rush: one press tops out near 60 shirts an hour, so a stadium or Grove crowd gets several presses running at once.
- Ready for outdoor stages: canopy, level ground and two dedicated 120V circuits per station, all sorted before load-in.
- A souvenir with the date on it: DTF lets us add the show date to each piece without changing screens.
What on-site event printing needs at an Anaheim festival
Each station takes about 10×10 ft and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits, and both should go on the site plan when you book the space. The lawn at City National Grove and the lots around Angel Stadium rarely have an outlet where the tent ends up, so we'll ask for a generator spot right beside the station. Heat is the Anaheim variable. From July into September the inland afternoons get hot, so the canopy goes up and the presses stay out of direct sun before gates open, and evening shows are easier on everybody. Two presses keep each guest's wait near two minutes, which matters when a headliner wraps and half the crowd walks to the table at once. For live t-shirt printing on a Honda Center concourse, the outlet and vendor credentials come through the venue, so ask early. There's no freight to schedule here; the truck leaves Fullerton the morning of the show. A hat bar in Anaheim does well once the sun drops, and live DTF handles full-color tour art without slowing the line.
Want more than tees? Add a hat bar or totes printed on the spot for the fans who already own the tour shirt.
